DDR SN2 Renews Diet Plan

I played about 50 songs on heavy (expert) the past 2 days. Feels great on the body! Only 26 pounds to go! I also got my Xbox back from the dead and tried Omega 5 for the arcade. OMG, its pretty sweet! I little bit on the hard side but the graphics are amazing! Tried to download the Devil May Cry 4 demo, but I think its bringing the Live service to its knees. Imagine hundreds of thousands of people trying to download a 700 meg file all at once. Oy Vey!
Getting a little bored with WoW these days. The Noobtoob Wowathon wasn't as exciting as I had hoped for as the hosts only play late at night when I work. Got my Blood Elf Paladin on Ravenholdt to 20 though and stopped. Now I am playing Unibrow the 34 Pali on my server, but I do nothing but herb and fish.
Time to crack open the Nights for Wii I just got from Gamefly.

Hotel Dusk

I am on my thrid run through of this game. I am not sure why I am hooked. The actual "game" is just not good at all. The whole package is incredible though. Can't really describe it.
Anywho, Been playing alot of SuperNova 2. Me likey. Even though it doesn't add much (yet), its fullfilling enough. Heck, even being able to play Healing D Vision, Faxx, and Felm on any difficulty is very nice. Chaos is a pain in my fat ass. Good song, horrible step chart.

Potential

Well SN2 was not the complete package I was hoping for. If you compare the Japanese list http://www.konami.jp/bemani/ddr/jp/am/sn2/musiclist/jp_new.html to what is available to play, it leave alot of room for improvement. There are only 4 new Oni courses too instead of the Japanese 9. THERE HAS TO BE UNLOCKS or Supernova 2 AC is a complete failure of an upgrade. Since there is no MAX2 point unlock system, I hope there is an Extreme one. Here is looking to the future!

I guess it was my time to get it. "Joshua" from India will arrange a coffin for my corpse pick up sometime this week. I hope they ship my Katamari game back to me. I can't seem to remove it from the death grasp of the 360.

2 Games for Virtual console

Nintendo only released 2 games for VC today. Even though they are good games (KoF 94 and Star Tropics), I can't help but feel a little ripped off. I guess a 3rd random game would have made my life more complete.
To be honest, I always wanted to play Star Tropics but I never did. Not sure why. I guess none of my friends in Brooklyn ever played it and told the tale. Not enough word of mouth about it I guess. All I had was good old Nintendo Power telling me to buy it. Now, 15 years later, I think I will.
I never did understand the whole King of Fighters craze. Sure there are tons of fighters, but I did not like the graphic style. Characters seemed too slim and trim. Seeing Terry Bogard all nice and hot and buff on the Fatal Fury games and then playing KoF left me wanting more. Yeah, I said it... Terry Bogard is HOOOOTT!1

This is the guide for the Gamecube Collectors edition. It goes for an average of $50 on Ebay. I really don't want to get rid of it, but thats a good chunk of change for a book.

Saving for Supernova 2 Upgrade

So the upgrade comes out this month apparently. The upgrade will be software only so it won't be so expensive. Alot of the DDR community is pissed at Betson for not adding E-Amuse support and are ready to boycott the game. I think thats a bit extreme. I love unlocks as much as the next crazy DDR player, but I'm not gonna avoid the game if it doesn't have unlocks. Look at the first Supernova. No unlocks at all and it still did well. The 2nd one should do even better.

So to save up some moneys for the upgrade, I have been selling a bunch of stuff on Ebay. stuff that I didn't plan on touching for awhile and will probably rebuy when it gets cheaper.

DDR for '08

I have been neglecting my arcade version for some time. I realized this when I was playing Paranoia Hades and almost broke my neck on the home pad. So I decided to be on an Oni course kick for as long as I can. I have played 4 courses today passing only 3 of them and I will play some more now. Oni mode was the best thing to ever grace DDR games for me. Since I put Jacob down for a nap, gonna try to play for an hour or so. My legs hurt already just planning this. I will prolly update with some of scores later.
