Hola Senoritas

Hey guys. What up? How they hanging? I'm ok, thanks for asking. Lets get to some happy updating!

Virtual Console has granted us all access to the great classic Punch Out featuring Mr Dream for the NES, Bonk's Revenge for Turbo, and Virtua Fighter 2 for Genesis. Punchout was an instant download. Played around with it for a bit.

Xbox Live gives us not 1, but 2 games this week. It looks like we get Gyruss and Mini Golf Adventures...according to Joystiq.com. Wow. 2 games is a step in the right direction y'all. Give us a little something to choose from. kthx.

So I almost finished the quest mode in DDR Universe for the 360. Bottom line, I am impressed with it. I said it before, its not without flaws, but overall its a solid mix. My one big complaint is the first song pack. You are paying $10 to simply unlock something that is already on the disc. That's kinda weak. I think the next song pack needs to come soon and at a slightly cheaper price. I do need to vent about something here though. Why is Paranioa Evolution the final unlock song for winning the dance battle in quest mode? Paranioa Evolution? Its not a bad song, but its been featured in countless mixes already. Give us a new Paranoia mix or something. I know...Fascination is pretty hot right now. Give us one of them, huh? Ok. done.

Sega announced Sonic Rush Adventure for the DS. I have not played the first Sonic Rush yet. I hear its excellent. I'm getting to it. Image at the top since I don't know how to post one here.
Comp USA is going out of business in these here 10,000 lakes. Had a chance to check out the Ridgedale store. Not too shabby. They had video games for 20%+ off. Some great deals, but I couldn't find anything too worthy.
Looks like they are building a Best Buy in Shakopee just a stone's throw away from Fort Cowlauncher. Could be spendy times ahead.

Hardly "great deals." CompUSA's "clearance" pricing merely brings down their hideously overpriced products down to the same price all the other retailers have stuff for. Yet people are buying this shit off the shelves like no tomorrow. A month ago when the sale first started people were going gangbusters as if that measly 10% off at the time constituded a good deal. I haven't bought one thing despite having gone back two more times. Only thing remotely interesting is I keep eyeing the XBL renewal cards hoping for them to go even cheaper.

Yeah I agree there. I walked in there, wallet in hand, and I walked out with 2 strategy guides and video capture card which I've been shopping for anyway. There were some decent PSP and PS3 games on sale for 20-25% off but I got enough crap to play now. As far as PC stuff, Newegg got them beat hard. Way better to shop with them. Or even eBay.
